okay i have to ask: does the showmaster lighten up at all over time? I find him too arrogant in the first episode.

i am all for the comedians being all earnest about their tasks, and i am actually in favor of a "serious" point system - unlike on QI. But what made QI work for me is that Stephen Fry is nice and polite with his guests (he just lets them insult each other), and the host on Taskmaster is... not.
