It works. Hell, it's far too uncommon in fanfiction if you ask me. Most authors don't trust you to 'get' the message unless they print in in bold on a two by four and hit you over the head with it. Repeatedly.

Also, I didn't mention before, but happened to be thinking about it; this is totally the decision Dean would make if he had known what LeGrange did ahead of time. *sigh*
