I love the innuendo in this. Nothing is spelled out but, as you read, it gathers like a cloud in the back of your mind, rains for a while and then clears by the end. It's a very refreshing change from the majority of fanfic writing where things are spelt out.

Just as an addition, I found the imagery of Sam taking his rage and grief out on the car as particularly breathtaking and simultaneously gutwrenching. Amazing writing.
