I just realized that you telegraph the ending with the title in such clever way that I didn't see it the first fifty times I stared at it. But tonight, I've got the phrase "last truce" running through my head and before I know it, it expands into "last truce we ever came to in our adolescent war" and it hit me. That is what I call an awesome title. It completely works on both levels.
