It's damn good, but oh-so-hurty.

Yeah... Supernatural brings out the angst in spades. When canon makes the characters cry on a regular basis, what's a fic author to do? *g*

And not being able to let go. Because.

They're both obsessive, but in very different ways, as I see them.

There's been a number of new eps since I wrote this. Many aspects of Sam&Dean's characters have been deepened, the characterization as a whole has broadened, and of course they've both grown and changed with what happened to them. But - the basic characterization hasn't shifted, in my eyes.

(Characterization is really one of the greatest strengths of this show. But that's a different topic. *g*)
