Yuletide is tempting me! It does this every year, and so far I have womanfully resisted. But maybe this year...?

So far I only have one fandom I'd like to write in, though. (And yes, extempore, it's Guardian. *g* Which... more about that later!) I'll have to ponder at more length...

Are you guys participating this year - or are you still resisting temptation? What fandoms are you looking at?

This is not a temptation I would ever want to resist! Yuletide is one of the highlights of my fannish year.

It's mostly small book fandoms for me, though I have a few other things on my list of potential offers.

It's a time thing! I am always nervous about not being able to finish a story in the allotted time.

Yuletide usually catches me off guard, much like the Christmas treats in supermarkets. ;-) I was very surprised that it's already that time of year again, so I missed the chance to nominate some fandoms of my own. Hmmm.

I look forward to it all year, so it never takes me by surprise. Though if you want to nominate next year, maybe tracking the admin comm would help? Then you'd get email notifications as soon as things start for the year.

But not being able to finish is a valid concern, especially if you know you'll be busy.

That's a good idea, I should track the comm. I do follow it, but somehow that doesn't seem to be enough. ;-)

Yeah, time really is the issue for me. And part of that is the fickle nature of inspiration - I don't want to have to write a story I don't really like just because time is running out and I lack inspiration. :-/
