Legends

So in the first ep of Sean Bean's new "undercover FBI agent takes on different identities and struggles with his own" series, the following things happen.

  • We learn that Our Rugged Manly Hero's gorgeous female superior had an affair with him once.

  • Practically the first thing she does after protesting way too much that she isn't interested in him at all (no way, no how, not even a little, take me now omg), is to take her clothes off and go undercover as a stripper.

  • ORMH tricks her into giving him an actual lapdance by pretending there's a hidden camera, which there isn't.

  • The entire stripper episode is ultimately pointless, since the information she brought ORMH thusly doesn't impact subsequent events.

  • An Indian IT guy is killed trying to get information for ORMH.

  • A black guy in a hoodie is killed trying to get information about ORMH's mysterious past to ORMH.

The only burning question on my mind after watching this is: Is it actually possible nobody involved with the production noticed this? Or is it really just me...?

Have you watched it? What did you think?
