Now I am wondering if Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng complimented her soup because she made it and it had emotional/nostalgic feelings attached to it and not because it was actually tasty?!
Heeee! I love that idea. When she made it the first time, she was incredibly proud of herself and watching her brothers like a hawk as they tried it - she had never cooked anything before, as the pampered daughter of the sect leader. It was watery and tasteless and just *odd*, but her brothers pretended to love it to make her happy... and as a result, she just *kept making it*. The exact same way. Their entire lives.
