A Defense of Critical Discussion

help_pakistan. I asked for a defense of the critical discussion of fanworks (including - but by no means limited to - reviews, as opposed to feedback). She wrote an essay that is eloquent, insightful and compellingly argued, and that comes with a number of comments that are also very worth reading.
