A little while ago this song was on the radio a lot, and I was always amused by the lyrics. I can't really judge the music itself because I am very lyrics-oriented - when I like lyrics, I almost inevitably like the entire song. This means I will refrain from recommending the song as a whole, even though I do like it a lot.
(I mean, I love "Call the Ships to Port" by Covenant, an industrial song which basically has no melody, because of its gorgeous, awesome, poetic and thought-inducingly wonderful lyrics. So that should tell you something. *g*)
Because I think the lyrics are very clever (if somewhat disjointed at times), I've translated them. Tell me what you think!
Unexpectedly, I rather like the video, too. It's nothing special except for one thing: There's a good amount of same-gender kissing mixed in with the expected m/f kissing. Clearly the band is making a point, and I like them for it.
