Blackhawks Bakeoff: Joulutorttu

In today’s round of the Blackhawks bakeoff, I am baking for adorable rookie Teuvo Teräväinen from Helsinki.



I’ve opted for the traditional windmill-shaped Finnish tarts Joulutorttu. Strictly speaking, Joulutorttu are Christmas treats, but I have always held the deep moral conviction that delicious baked goods should be enjoyed regardless of the season.

I totally forgot to post for the Apple Bundt Cake I baked for Patrick Sharp a few games ago – not to mention that hildestuff made gorgeous snow kisses for Michal Rozsival, and kiwoa baked delicious pastry hearts for Patrick Kane.
