Brief Game of Thrones thoughts

rheasilviaOh, great. So I gather Bran the Boring really is going to be King one day, when the dust finally settles. Somehow I've been fearing this outcome right from the start. It must have been the pretentiousness portentousness that's always surrounded him in a big, omen!- and mystical-power!-infused, numbingly boring cloud.
Le sigh. I really hope I'm wrong...
Also, nobody ever dies on this show. Even that twerp Theon is still alive. (I mean, really. Why? I have a hard time thinking he still has interesting plot uses in him...)
And Sanza... nooo. I'd really hoped she'd turn into a cool-headed and dangerously subtle tactician. She seemed to be well on her way! But in the first eps of this new season, she seems entirely helpless, naive and passive again. Not to mention ready to trust anyone who sends a little warmth her way.
On a positive note, I'm finding Marjorie quite fascinating, and would almost feel sorry for Joffrey if I didn't despise the little toad so much. Talk about getting in over one's poisonous little crowned head.
Also, at long last, the dynamic between Jaime Lannister and Brienne is beginning to become interesting.
