Started rewatching Wiseguy* yesterday and noticed something the rest of the Wiseguy-watching world probably noticed ages ago. The first thing Sonny Steelgrave ever says on the show is that he doesn't think it's smart to do your own rubber glove work. Oh, Sonny. You are so very right, and this is a briliant and painful bit of foreshadowing that I find all the more lovely for being so subtle.
Also, wow. This is a really, really good series. And I only watched the pilot, but I already have Nights in White Satin stuck in my head.
* BTW: When I say Wiseguy, I mean the Steelgrave arc. I have never managed to watch any of the later arcs because I couldn't bear to.

In short: YES. You really, really should watch the entire Steelgrace arc one of these days. It's only ten eps, and it's impossible to convey how good it is through just highlights.

Date: 2014-01-14 03:49 pm (UTC)In terms of canon, though, Wiseguy is so much better than Thor and Avengers. And I say this as a declared fan of Loony (which is my personal acronym of Loki/Tony, that I still can't believe isn't in general use *g*).
