Crossover thoughts
Jan. 21st, 2012 07:09 pmWhy are there no Smallville / X-Men First Class crossovers?
Imagine the possibilities. You'd only have to adjust the XMFC/SV timelines a bit, and:
- Erik & Charles could try to recruit Lex, who definitely counts as a mutant.
- Lex could approach Erik with some scheme later on, after Erik and Charles have gone through the beach divorce.
- Lex and Erik could actually team up for some effort. Just imagine how awesome they would be; incredibly scary, scarily brilliant, not trusting each other in the slightest, and probably liking and respecting each other quite a bit.
- Charles could know Lex because they went to the same boarding school for the super rich. They quite probably moved in the same circles
- Charles and Lex could have worked together on some research program at university. Or they could team up for one now. They would also be an awesome team - the combined brain power alone...
- Charles could approach politician!Lex to ensure his support for the mutant cause.
Clark is a bit of the odd alien out here, not being a mutant and all. But it occurs to me that kryptonite is a metal... and of course, any scheme of Lex's is sure to either directly involve Clark and/or bring Clark running posthaste.
