The pairing and the premise was so weird that I couldn't help but click, and I admit I expected it to be completely horrible and stupid and ridiculously OOC, but I was so, so, so wrong. This is like the Susan Boyle of fic. XD This is so incredible. The writing and the characterization and just. God. EVERYTHING. It was amazing. WHY CAN'T WE HAVE MORE FIC LIKE THIS IN THIS FANDOM.

I loved Ryo's inner narrative so, so much. And his process from hating Junno's presence and feeling like he's been intruded upon, to being possessive and getting feelings for him felt so NATURAL, especially since you didn't go from total loathing to 'I-can't-live-without-you-we-are-kizuna~~~~~~~~~*~*~*' love in the blink of an eye. It was so... just. AUGH. GOOD. I don't know. I loved it.

Even the BDSM was perfect. I'm not big on heavy bondage and stuff like that, but I felt like it was just the right mixture of hardcore and not over the top. It was SO hot and I yelled numerous times when you stopped. XDDD I complained about you being a cocktease because lakshflaf that's just how caught up in it I was. GAH. I loved it. Jin is my favourite JE boy ever and I rarely read fic without him in it (and LIKE it), which just shows you how much I love this.

WRITE MORE. WE NEED MORE FIC LIKE THIS IN JE FANDOM.

I know that Junno/Ryo is not a pairing most people will immediately like the thought of... and the premise may have fanfic tradition, but, yes, does have potentially problematic aspects. *g* So I am very glad that you gave the story a chance despite all of that - and that you then enjoyed it so much!

This makes me very happy! Ryo's voice and his (and the reader's) view of Junno, both of their characterization and their relationship and how it changes and grows - that was just what was most important to me to get right, and I am so glad that you liked how it turned out. :-)

It's not even that... I honestly have nothing against the pairing at all; I can imagine they might theoretically go quite well together.

I just can't muster up much interest in any pairing that doesn't include Junno, so the result of me attempting to write anything for such a pairing would be pretty lackluster. :-)

I agree it's quite rare. But a friend who will occasionally venture into ~~the dark side~~ Pin territory (see! I said friend! Some of my best friends are-- oops.), was just recently complaining that there isn't much decent fic there, either. I don't know what it's like there, but with Akame, I have found that simply unsubscribing from

akame_ gave me a different perspective. Good fic still comes along infrequently, but at least I no longer see all the 'hai gais i wrote this in half an hour in art class and i know it sux, no beta coz i coudnt wait, i heart feedback and no flames and oh kame is a girl in this fic hehe dun hate me now' contributions.

Akame has some excellent writers, and I bet Pin has, too. They're just too busy with RL things to produce a lot. What we need... what we need is a rich sponsor to fund a writing contest between the two groups, something where everybody gets paid a lot of money to go hang out in a nice onsen and do nothing but write good fic. I'm sure a Junno/Ryo writer could also be invited along, in acknowledgement of where the project was first mooted.
